Objective

Following Are The Main Objectives Of Bvp :

1) To encourage its members & their families through educational, cultural and social programmes.
2) To organize seminars, conferences, drama, concert, etc. in order to bring about awareness and do its best for the environmental preservation & development.
3) To celebrate main festivals popular in Bihar and organize various programmes aimed at uplifting the society & more so the women and the children.
4) To help the downtrodden lots, particularly women & the children and those underprivileged todevelop on their own.
5) To organize Blood Donation, Medical camps, etc. for the upkeep of health in general,as also to make efforts to establish relationships with the local hospitals or Polyclinics to ensure timely treatment of its members.
6) To encourage Sports, English speaking & Essay competitions, etc among the schools and colleges going students & award prizes to the deserving candidates.
7) To organize rallies and meetings in order to bring about awareness amongst its members and to resolve general problems, as also induce a sense of Patriotism among its members. It also encourages its members to rise to the situation as & when called for, particularly during any natural calamity such as Earthquake,flood / drought / war or break of any epidemics, etc.
8) To create movable & immovable property for the Parishad in pursuit of fulfillment of its objectives.
9) To come forward voluntarily in the services of its society, citizens of Surat city, Gujarat & Bihar state & the nation as a whole.
10) To develop Scholarship, Medical & Disaster funds by opening corpuses & contribute in turn to the society in the time of need, conforming to the norms, as laid by the Bihar Vikas Parishad, from time-to-time.
